During hurricane season Sunset Valley Fire and Rescue is frequently called out for disaster response and light urban search and rescue.
Flash Flooding
Flash flooding occurs any time. When this happens, Sunset Valley Fire and Rescue is frequently called out to monitor low water crossings in Sunset Valley, or we respond to search and rescue requests through out the state as the need arises and the personnel exists to respond.
